Hello
4th april 2012, our lives changed forever. lovestruck by a little boy who came into our lives. granted he takes after me and kept us waiting nine, yes nine agonising days. but when he did decide to join the party, my did he do it in style. so here we are nearly ten months later, on one hand I can't understand where the time has gone, yet on another, its like he has always been here. like seriously what did we do with all are free time before this little guy?! oh how those days seem blissful when you're up for the umpteenth time that night, because well for no good reason other than, i just want to check you're still there mummy and daddy ;) but who am i kidding we wouldn't have it any other way. promise son.
so as he approaches his tenth month i am awe struck ( i'm struck a lot these days!) by how much he has changed and grown. gone is my tiny ( to be fair he was never technically tiny, 9lb 9!!!!) baby and instead is this little person on the cusp of toddlerhood. i am so excited for him yet equally sad that little baby has gone. never to come back. but oh what memories i have of it. which leads me to here.
writing a blog is something I've always been interested in but never seemed to have the confidence to do. gotta love self-doubt hey! but that is one thing i have to thank my little boy for, everything holding me back has always been of my own making. i don't want to do that anymore, not for me, but for him. i always think of the advice i'll give him when he's older, which seriously will happen in a blink of an eye the way things are going. how can i offer advice i have never taken myself? so here i am. bear with me people. i am a nightmare with computers. they hate me, hate me i tell you. but i am trying to become friends. it can't be that hard surely?? blogging to me is to capture the moments while they happen. to be able to look back and remember every little detail. and for one day my little boy to see. and for my beautiful mum. it's crazy how close we are and even crazier that we live nowhere near each other. well now you don't need to miss a thing.
so welcome to anyone else who may stumble across our little space on the internet.
